CISCO Hiring Full Stack Engineer | Apply Now

If you are looking to kickstart your career in the world of Artificial Intelligence, Cisco has a great opening. They are looking for a Full Stack Engineer (AI/ML) for their Sales Compensation team. This isn’t just a basic coding job; you’ll be building smart systems that help Cisco manage its huge network of partners and sellers worldwide.

About Cisco

We all know Cisco as the backbone of the internet. They’ve been around for 40 years, making everything from routers to advanced security software. In India, Cisco is famous for its great work culture and for being a place where engineers actually get to build things that matter.

What will you do:

Collaborate with the team to explore and learn the existing systems. Maintain a high standard of code quality and unit test coverage. Participate in daily scrum, sprint planning, reviews, demonstrations, retrospectives, and grooming sessions.

In this role, your main focus will be on making “intelligent” solutions. Here’s what a typical day might look like:

  • Writing Smart Code: You’ll use Python to build logic for partner incentives (basically, how Cisco rewards its partners).
  • Building AI Models: You will design models to predict business trends and catch any errors or “anomalies” in the data.
  • Working with LLMs: You’ll get to work with famous AI models like GPT-4 and Llama to make Cisco’s internal systems smarter.
  • Full Stack Development: You won’t just do AI; you’ll also work on the frontend (ReactJS) and backend (Snowflake) to make sure the whole app works perfectly.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: A degree in B.E/B.Tech (Computer Science, IT, or Data Science).
  • Experience: At least 1 year of professional experience in AI/ML and full-stack coding.
  • Python Skills: You should be very comfortable with Python and libraries like Pandas and Scikit-learn.
  • Tools: Knowledge of ReactJS and Snowflake is a must.

Nice to Have Skills :

  • If you know about RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) or how to fine-tune AI models, you’ll have a huge advantage.
  • Familiarity with FastAPI, Kafka, or Elastic Search is a big plus.

Salary & Location

  • Job Location: This role is based in Hyderabad, Telangana.
  • Salary Details: While Cisco hasn’t mentioned a fixed number, for someone with 1+ years of experience in AI, the package usually falls between ₹14 LPA to ₹24 LPA depending on how well you do in the interview.

Why Join Cisco?

Cisco is known for its work-life balance. They don’t just care about the code; they care about the person. It’s a highly collaborative environment where you’ll learn from some of the best architects in the industry. If you want a stable yet high-tech career start, this is it.

Selection Process:

  1. Online Test: Usually starts with a coding and aptitude round.
  2. Technical Rounds: 2-3 rounds focusing on your Python logic, ML projects, and Full Stack knowledge.
  3. Managerial/HR: A final chat to see if you fit the team culture.

Resume Tips for This Role

  • Be Specific: Instead of saying “I know AI,” mention “Built an NLP model using BERT for customer matching.”
  • Show the “Full Stack”: Mention a project where you used ReactJS for the frontend and a database for the backend.
  • Keep it clean: Use a simple, one-page PDF format.

Important Note While Applying: Make sure your resume highlights keywords like Python, LLM, ReactJS, and MLOps. Cisco uses automated systems to scan resumes, so these words help you get noticed!
